Friends of the Boxborough Library
The Friends of the Boxborough library was established to promote and enhance the resources of the library. Funds raised by the Friends have provided:
- Museum passes
- Reproduction of Historical photographs
- Library landscaping
- Building special collections
- Summer reading programs
- Folding tables
- Children's magazine collection
- Shelving for magazines
- Appalachian Book Drive
- Library programs
- Refreshments for library programs
In the future the Friends hope to provide funding for the following:
- Community gatherings
- Additional museum passes
- Additional library programs
- Innovative programs for children and adults
The major fund-raising events of the year, are the semi-annual book sales. Members have special preview privileges.
The Friends usually meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM. Check the event calendar for dates and times.
