The Friends of the Boxborough library was established to promote and enhance the resources of the library. Funds raised by the Friends have provided:

• Museum passes
• Reproduction of Historical photographs
• Library landscaping
• Building special collections
• Summer reading programs
• Folding tables
• Children's magazine collection
• Shelving for magazines
• Appalachian Book Drive
• Library programs
• Refreshments for library programs

In the future the Friends hope to provide funding for the following:

• Community gatherings
• Additional museum passes
• Additional library programs
• Innovative programs for children and adults

The major fund-raising events of the year, are the semi-annual book sales. Members have special preview privileges.

The Friends usually meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM. Check the event calendar for dates and times.
