The library is closed on both Federal and State Holidays.

Library Winter Weather Policy

If Blanchard Memorial School is closed due to a storm, the Sargent Memorial Library will not open until 1:00 pm, weather permitting. This will allow the DPW time to plow and treat the town roads, library driveway and parking lot.

The library is located on Route 111 at 427 Mass Avenue.

From Rte. 495:
     Take exit 28 onto Rte 111 South towards Boxborough. The library is located approximate 2.1 miles on the left, just past the Blanchard Memorial Elementary school

From the east:
    Take Route 2 to exit 43, Route 111 West. The library is located approximate 3.1 miles on the right, 0.8 miles west of the Acton/Boxborough town line.
